Well, with an email address you are able to follow up with the visitor and offer your products and/or services. Of course, you don’t want to sell all the time because if you do that, you are guaranteed to lose more subscribers than you can gain new ones.

The key is to balance out your email messages. Provide value by giving them tips and tricks in your industry, entertain them with your personal stories (use humor), and sell to them.
