Make money doing nothing – Can you REALLY do that? Does such a thing even exist in this world?
The answer is: YES!
(Huh???)
You can make money doing nothing via 5 ways:
1. Win the lottery
This is straightforward. You buy lottery tickets, and IF you’re LUCKY, you’ll win the lottery and strike it rich almost immediately.
2. Win the jackpot
This is easy pizzy to understand as well. You go to Vegas or any casino (online or offline) and you LUCKILY win the jackpot.
Congratulations!
3. Marry someone rich
IF you’re LUCKY, you can find a rich partner and marry him or her. Their wealth and assets mean your wealth and assets.
Welcome to the rich club…
4. Inherit money
IF you’re LUCKY to be born into a rich family, you can inherit money from your parents.
5. Rob a bank
You go rob a bank and become rich overnight. IF you’re LUCKY, you won’t be caught.
Of the above 5 ways on how to make money doing nothing, which one do you like most?
You know what…
It’s not really accurate to say that the above 5 ways do not require you to do anything. You still need to do SOMETHING.
Let’s go over them.
Win the lottery – you still need to spend time and money buying lottery tickets, even though you do it online.
Win the jackpot – you still need to spend time and money to put your bets down.
Marry someone rich – you still need to spend time and effort (and possibly money) to find that rich someone.
Inherit money – this is probably the easiest way to make money doing nothing as you almost literally do not have to do anything except arranging some legal paperwork that needs to be done.
Rob a bank – you still need to buy weapons, guns, ammunitions, masks, etc before you can rob a bank. You also need to carefully plan out a flawless attack on the back. This means you still need to spend time, money, and effort.
So technically speaking, you still need to do SOME WORK if you want to make money. In other words, you CAN’T really make money by not doing anything.
And did you also notice that in each of the 5 ways above I use the words “IF” and “LUCKY”? That means the above 5 ways will only work IF you’re LUCKY.
If you’re still with me at this point, I advise you to COMPLETELY ABANDON the thought that you can make money doing nothing. It will do you more harm than good.
If you keep thinking that there is a magic “secret” formula for making money out of thin air – that money will fall from the sky to your hands – then you’re going to WASTE your whole life searching for this formula that never exists in the first place.

This post caricatures perfectly the unspeakable blurbs of get rich quick schemes without any work that swamp the internet. And yes, printing your own money is missing on the list. A nice humorous post.

Rob A Bank doesn’t deserve to be on this list. It takes loads of effort as you say. I’m still not sure about learning Internet business properly though. What about printing your own money?
1. Scan in some dollar bills
2. Print them (remember to do double-sided)

You can’t gain anything without doing something. But your blog post made me laugh! There are times that we could achieve what we want in easier ways; with luck per se. But the fruit of hard-work is different. It brings more joy and satisfaction.

As for making money by doing nothing — it is completely impossible and you just made that clear. There is no such thing as making money by doing nothing. You always have exchange value in order to make money.
Myself — I’m an IM, and I try to create a passive income which is almost like making money by doing nothing.
I outsource the creating of my website and all of that to my VA. He does everything related to my websites. I only tell him what to do and pay him.
The ROI is usually high making me think that a passive income made online is by far one of the best ways of almost doing nothing and making money
